Therapy Dogs Nationwide, is a UK charity that advocates for the therapeutic benefits of human-animal interaction. Through its volunteer base the charity provides Animal Assisted Therapy in schools, hospitals, hospices, nursing homes, care centres and prisons. This is accomplished through trained therapy animals and is known to increase well being.

Based in Devon, Julie Gallagher is a local volunteer with Therapy Dogs Nationwide. She is also the author of Where is Bonnie? This is a unique children’s book about a golden retriever which is perfect to teach children to care for animals.

Julie is a member of the Great Western chapter of BNI which supports Therapy Dogs Nationwide as its charity.
