We have a huge wall with many cracks and wrinkles and it is amazing to see the transformation Chris is bringing. Thank you CH Plastering for all the technical expertise you have brought to the Exeter Kindness Mural. The job requires the resurfacing of a 100m2 wall in the city centre. Chris examined the site and determined rendering was the best option. Furthermore, he negotiated significant savings with SAS Render Systems to support this charitable project.
He and Mathew Mitchell of SAS examined the cracks together and determined the exact materials needed: a staggering 675 kg of ProRend Basecoat, three rolls of Pro Mesh reinforcement and 17 lengths of ProBead. We were just going to have the wall plastered, but it will now have a superior finish.
We had some setbacks due to the scaffolding not being ideal for rendering as it would require patch ups and we’re glad that Chris wouldn’t compromise the quality of his craftmanship. So, the scaffolding had to be adjusted. The top part of the wall has already been completed and the difference is clear for all to see.
